Client-Centered Representation
Andrea Passarini is a Florida family law and immigration attorney licensed to practice law in both Florida and Brazil. With more than twenty years of legal experience, she represents individuals and families in divorce, international divorce, child custody, parenting plans, relocation, paternity, support, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, immigration proceedings, and complex cross-border legal matters involving the United States and Brazil.
As the founder and managing attorney of Passarini Law, PLLC, Andrea maintains a multidisciplinary practice focused on Florida family law, international family law, and U.S. immigration law. Her dual legal background allows her to assist clients whose personal, marital, parental, financial, or immigration matters extend across national borders.
In her family law practice, Andrea represents clients in contested and uncontested divorces, international divorces, dissolution of marriage proceedings, parenting-plan disputes, time-sharing matters, child support, alimony, paternity, parental relocation, and the negotiation and enforcement of marital agreements. She also handles cases involving foreign marriages, foreign divorce decrees, international property agreements, and the recognition and enforcement of judgments entered in Brazil and other countries.
Andrea is particularly experienced in matters where Florida family law intersects with immigration status, international assets, foreign judicial proceedings, or cross-border custody concerns. She works with clients to develop coordinated legal strategies that account for proceedings and obligations in more than one jurisdiction.
Her immigration practice includes family-based immigration, adjustment of status, naturalization, removal defense, asylum, VAWA, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status, waivers, humanitarian relief, and representation before U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Immigration Court.
Before establishing Passarini Law, Andrea served as an attorney representing the Florida Department of Children and Families in dependency proceedings involving abuse, abandonment, neglect, parental rights, and child welfare. That role provided substantial courtroom and litigation experience and a detailed understanding of the legal and personal issues affecting children and families.
Andrea also worked as an immigration attorney with Catholic Legal Services of the Archdiocese of Miami, where she represented individuals and families in humanitarian and removal-defense matters. She earned a Master of Laws in International Arbitration from the University of Miami School of Law and participated in the University of Miami Immigration Clinic, where she worked on complex immigration and humanitarian cases.
Fluent in English and Portuguese and proficient in Spanish, Andrea regularly represents clients from multicultural and international backgrounds. Her practice is defined by detailed preparation, practical legal strategy, direct communication, and individualized representation.
